1838 Frs. F.N. Blanchet and Demers arrive at Fort Vancouver
1840 James Carty, a Catholic, is first white settler in Ridgefield
1850 A.M.A. Blancher named first Bishop of Diocese of Nesqually (later Seattle)
1856 Mother Joseph arrives
1867 St. Mary Church is first of Clark County missions
1869 Bishop Blanchet blesses first church on site of current south portion of cememtery 
1891 St. Mary established as parish
1902 Second church built across the street from current church
1925 Mission of St. Thomas
1940 Mission of Sacred Heart
1959 Archbishop Connolly dedicates church, St. Mary of Guadalupe
1962 Mission of St. Philip
